WIP wednesday

This has been a week to get a few things finished, and hopefully the upcoming week will lead to another big finish.  This is what I completed this week:
  • tote bag for the mouthy stitches swap
mouthy stitches tote front
my modern maples mini
  • I have now quilted 7/11 of the columns on the wonky cross, queen-sized quilt for my sister-in-law
wonky cross quilt progress

Over the next week I would like to . . .
  • Finish quilting the wonky cross quilt.  I am not letting myself work on anything else until this is done, but I have a busy week ahead.
  • Start working on my EPP project.  I am doing a babysitting swap this weekend and I am going to be at a friend's house for several hours so I think this would be the perfect project to bring a long.
  • Finish making flying geese for my daughter's quilt.  I need to make about 35 more, but I already have everything cut out.
I have several upcoming projects but I can't even think about that right now.  Last night my family went to Mickey's Halloween Party at Disneyland and we got home at about 1am.  Now I am up bright and early to take my daughter to preschool and my brain is totally fried!  But we did have a wonderful time!

  1. That wonky cross quilt is looking good so far so keep persevering. You have been very productive this week.

  2. The wonky cross looks great - I just finished a quilt with similar straight line stitching and it is such a chore getting through it, but the end result is totally worth it! Hang in there :)

  3. Nice progress this week Erica. :) We went to Disney last summer and I miss it. We had SUCH a great time. I imagine living there that you don't go all the time either though, right?

  4. Gosh, I love all of your projects! The tote and the mini are so lovely. The quilting is coming along nicely on the quilt...I'm sure it will be beautiful!

  5. That bag... Those maples... LOVE!!!!

  6. I seriously love all 3 of your projects! Thanks for linking to wip Wednesday, which I have thoroughly enjoyed hosting today!

  7. What a beautiful Rose Star for you bag! Love the quilting you've done and commitment to keep it going!

The leaves are so perfect today!

  8. I cannot stop looking at that bag, it is so beautiful - so are your other projects!

  9. beautiful, beautiful, beautiful...
