WIP wednesday

This has been a week to get a few things finished, and hopefully the upcoming week will lead to another big finish.  This is what I completed this week:
  • tote bag for the mouthy stitches swap
mouthy stitches tote front
my modern maples mini
  • I have now quilted 7/11 of the columns on the wonky cross, queen-sized quilt for my sister-in-law
wonky cross quilt progress

Over the next week I would like to . . .
  • Finish quilting the wonky cross quilt.  I am not letting myself work on anything else until this is done, but I have a busy week ahead.
  • Start working on my EPP project.  I am doing a babysitting swap this weekend and I am going to be at a friend's house for several hours so I think this would be the perfect project to bring a long.
  • Finish making flying geese for my daughter's quilt.  I need to make about 35 more, but I already have everything cut out.
I have several upcoming projects but I can't even think about that right now.  Last night my family went to Mickey's Halloween Party at Disneyland and we got home at about 1am.  Now I am up bright and early to take my daughter to preschool and my brain is totally fried!  But we did have a wonderful time!

  2. The wonky cross looks great - I just finished a quilt with similar straight line stitching and it is such a chore getting through it, but the end result is totally worth it! Hang in there :)

  3. Nice progress this week Erica. :) We went to Disney last summer and I miss it. We had SUCH a great time. I imagine living there that you don't go all the time either though, right?
