My inspiration was this quilt and I had intended to have my half square triangles on point as well but when I played around with the blocks I really liked this layout. In the end working on this quilt was therapeutic and I'm glad I pushed through and finished it up.
The quilting is an all-over swirl pattern. I forgot to get a photo of the back of the quilt but it is a black and white print with an extra block pieced into the backing.
I am really glad that this quilt will be donated and I hope that it helps someone.

ReplyDeleteI hope that your heart is a bit lighter with this finish. I know that a lot of prayers went into the blocks, for both you and for the young man who inspired this quilt.
