Virtual Baby Shower

I am so overwhelmed right now.  My fellow members of the do. Good Stitches Wish Circle are amazing and talented and generous and threw me a virtual baby shower.  Today was the designated day to open the gifts.  My kids were just as excited as I was so I let them help me open everything.

Before I get to the photos I just want to thank these ladies for all of their love and support.  I hope they know how much their thoughtfulness means to me!  I am far from being ready for this baby to be born and this made me feel so much more prepared.

Caitlin made the cutest alligator (crocodile?).  My daughter has already tried to steal this for herself.

Maggie made this adorable hat.  I am hopeless when it comes to yarn but Maggie is amazing!

Steph made some really cute burp cloths, bibs, and a soft toy.  My kids wanted to know why I don't make cool stuff like this, ha ha.
Virtual Baby Shower
Becky made this really cute diapers/wipes pouch.  She also included some diapers and wipes which is amazing because I haven't bought any yet!

Kirsten sent some wipes, a binky clip, a diaper strap, and some bandana bibs.  This baby is going to be so stylish :)

Lynn made some adorable, thick, very absorbent feeling bibs which will be awesome if this baby spits up like his big brother did ;)

And Rene' sent a super cute hat and outfit and a quilt that she bought from the Auction for Eleni.  Knowing that the proceeds from the quilt went to help Rachel makes it extra special.

Seriously, how amazing are these ladies?  And I still have one more gift to look forward to from Kelleigh.  Thanks so much guys!

  2. I love the virtual baby shower concept! You received some great gifts.

I meant to give you more information on the generous quilter who donated to the Auction for Eleni, but I only have her Instagram name...no email or blog info...and mailing address but can forward that if you're interested. Don't want to take credit for something I did not make ;-))) I will say it was hard to part with the quilt though....love the soft minky on the back.

  3. What a brilliant idea! You deserve it all, Erica. Praying for a safe delivery, healthy baby, and rested Mommy -- as well rested as you can be with a newborn, anyway! :)

  4. This is so amazing and very thoughtful! This makes me feel like it's that much easier to still be a part of something so magical in life even when from afar! You definitely deserve it and the biggest of warm wishest to when the newest one is born!
