New Pattern - The Julia Quilt!

The Julia Quilt Pattern - Kitchen Table Quilting
I am excited to release a new pattern today - this is The Julia Quilt! The pattern is now available in my shop as both a PDF and a paper pattern.

The Julia Quilt Pattern - Kitchen Table Quilting

I have been wanting to design a pattern that is specifically for bed size quilts, that is quick to put together, and that looks good (of course). This pattern has instructions for Twin (68" x 90") and Queen size (90" x 113") quilts.

It is very quick to put together - the blocks are on the larger size and require very few steps. The block is beginner friendly - it looks much more complicated than it actually is.

I will make a post with more photos of my quilt sometime next week, but I used a variety of Cotton + Steel prints for my version. Those sheep! Probably my new favorite fabric.

I couldn't have done this without my wonderful pattern testers. They are such an important part of the process while writing a pattern and Miranda and Samantha are both brilliant at helping me figure out where I can make improvements. It is really important to me that my patterns are as easy to understand as possible and having pattern testers give me their prospective (in addition to finding errors!) is so helpful.

I hope you enjoy the pattern.  If you make a version, I would love to see it!  Tag it with the hashtag #thejuliaquilt and #kitchentablequilting on Instagram or email me a photo.

  4. This is an amazing pattern and I would love to buy the pattern. However, when I click on the link you provided or try the link at the top of the page for "Patterns," I get a blank screen. I have tried on both an iPad and a laptop (thinking it was a mobile device issue). Thanks.
