It is a Rocky Mountain Puzzle Block with directions for a 24" and a 36" version. I made a quilt using a 12" version of the block a while back and it packs a lot of punch for such a simple block.
The free download also has directions for using each block size in a quilt.
A few people have asked if I am going to continue these tutorials next year. I have thought a lot about it and have decided not to continue - they have been fun and I have enjoyed doing them, but they do take a lot of time. I do plan to continue to offer tutorials; ending this series after next month will give me a little more freedom to do different types of free projects and to work on my patterns. These patterns will continue to be available for free in my shop.
Head over to the shop to see everything that I have available:
You have been very generous with your time and energy and creative ideas. Thank you.
ReplyDeleteYour welcome! I have truly enjoyed it!
DeleteThank you so much for sharing all your big block patterns. I love them for a quick wall hanging or baby quilt.
ReplyDeleteI am so glad!
DeleteThis is awesome, thank you so much! 💕
ReplyDeleteHi, I rarely comment on blogs anymore, but I wanted to say that I love your big blocks. I download them every month and have even made a quilt (shock, as the wip piles grows ever more impressive). I understand moving on to new challenges for the new year, but I just wanted to let you know how appreciated these big block patterns have been. Thanks so much

Thank you for taking the time to comment, I really appreciate it! I will definitely still be sharing tutorials, it just won't be monthly and will probably include things over than big blocks. It has been a fun project, but it feels like it is time to move onto something else!
DeleteOn an Android device you cannot do the downloads from the checkout page, you have to do the downloads in Google Chrome & from the email that says "your downloads are ready"
