This is The Patti Quilt and it is fat quarter friendly! This quilt started out as a project for a gorgeous stack of Sugarplum fat quarters (which I will show you later this week) and I knew I wanted to make it into a pattern to share with all of you.
The pattern is beginner friendly - as long as you can make a HST, you can make this quilt. There are instructions for baby, lap, and twin size versions, but it can be easily sized up or down by adding rows or columns.
For my quilt I used a variety of Michael Miller Cotton Couture solids, including several of their new shades. They are so pretty! They do the best muted colors.
The backing fabric is a really great Michael Miller print called Gingham Play. It is a fantastic backing fabric and is available in several colors. It is possibly my new favorite backing fabric. If you work at Michael Miller and you are reading this, please make this as a 108" wide print!
I had some fabulous pattern testers on this one and I am excited to share what they made.
Danielle's Baby Size Quilt
I love that Danielle used a bright background fabric with more muted colors for the HST, it is a fun combo!Joanne's Baby Size Quilt
I am a huge blue/green fan! This makes such a cute baby quilt.Miranda's Lap Size Quilt
Miranda always works magic with Bonnie and Camille prints and this is no exception. So pretty!Sandie's Twin Size Quilt
Sandie actually added two more columns after this to make a 96" square quilt - I love her high contrast fabric choices. It is such a happy quilt! The Patti Quilt (as well as Olivia and Nancy) are all 20% off in the shop through Christmas.
I cannot even put into words how grateful I am for all of you and for the opportunity share these patterns with you. It has made a huge difference to me this past year and your love and support has made had such a huge impact on me.
Erica, this quilt pattern is beautiful. I love all of the versions too.
ReplyDeleteI also love all the variations of this quilt! So pretty scrappy, just my kind of quilt. Erica, please email me. I lived in SD most of my life until I retired to Oregon. Are you near Rosie's Calico Cupboard? I miss her!
