A Zola Christmas Quilt

The Zola Christmas Quilt - Kitchen Table Quilting
As much as I love Christmas quilts, I don't love that they have to be stowed away for the majority of the year. So, when I decided to make a Christmas quilt this year, I needed it to be just kind of vaguely Christmassy so that it would fit into my living room year round.

After some planning I decided that I wanted a couple of things:
1. To use my Zola Quilt pattern because it kind of resembles wrapped gifts.
2. To use a variety of solids that didn't scream Christmas.

Isn't it fun? I am feeling pretty pleased with it myself. It has red and green - but also pink, yellow, orange, and even purple. It will fit in perfectly with my not-color-coordinated, all-bought-on-clearance Christmas decor.

I did go a little literal with the backing and binding on this quilt - the backing fabric is Gingham Play in Cherry and the binding is Cotton Couture Spearmint.

Here are the Cotton Couture colors I used in my quilt:
Cherry
Watermelon
Lipstick
Coral
Tangerine
Gold
Marigold
Starfruit
Lime
Turf
Green
Mermaid
Luna
Orchid
Spearmint
Bright White

The Zola Christmas Quilt - Kitchen Table Quilting Right now I am just ecstatic that I actually finished a holiday quilt before the actual holiday. I'm off to give this one a wash so we can start using it!
