This version is much less crazy. It involves some strip piecing, and the blocks are pretty big, so it comes together quickly. I just sent the pattern off to my testers last night so hopefully I will have the pattern ready in a few weeks.
The pattern will have different sizes, this is the baby quilt size.
I backed the quilt in beloved Chicopee corduroy and stitched the binding down with Perle cotton. I had a couple people email me asking about sewing the binding down this way, so next time I bind a quilt I will take some photos and write up a post with details.
Finished size: 45" x 45"
Pattern: The Linda Quilt (coming soon!)
Backing: Chicopee corduroy
Batting: Quilter's Dream Cotton Select
Oh my, yeah! this is a fun quilt!
ReplyDeleteI do love the design and colors!
I would love to learn more about the binding too
Thank you for sharing this treasure today
Wow, what a design! and I love the backing and the binding stitching!
ReplyDeleteThat is a great quilt! I was thing it would be cute to put a small silhouette of a cat or bird or something in the corner of that. (In my version and not to take away from your design)
ReplyDeleteI love the colors you used too!
