The Linda Quilt

Ever since I made this plaid mini, I have been planning to write a pattern.  I tried a few different ways to put it together and decided to simplify this design a little bit because the original design was so tedious. Trust me, you don't want to make it!

The Linda Quilt

This version is much less crazy.  It involves some strip piecing, and the blocks are pretty big, so it comes together quickly.  I just sent the pattern off to my testers last night so hopefully I will have the pattern ready in a few weeks.

The pattern will have different sizes, this is the baby quilt size.

The Linda Quilt

I backed the quilt in beloved Chicopee corduroy and stitched the binding down with Perle cotton.  I had a couple people email me asking about sewing the binding down this way, so next time I bind a quilt I will take some photos and write up a post with details.

Finished size: 45" x 45"
Pattern: The Linda Quilt (coming soon!)
Backing: Chicopee corduroy

  3. That is a great quilt! I was thing it would be cute to put a small silhouette of a cat or bird or something in the corner of that. (In my version and not to take away from your design)
I love the colors you used too!
