Fussy Cut Sampler QAL - Blocks 41-44

This week's Fussy Cut Sampler blocks focus on creating a narrative.
The Fussy Cut Sampler Block # 41
Block 41. This block is about picking a theme.  I looked through my stash for a very long time with this one and decided to use some precious scraps of Heather Ross roses in combination with this rose background fabric.
The Fussy Cut Sampler Block # 42
Block 42. When I saw the title of the chapter, I had a feeling this block was coming.  This block is supposed to use all prints from a single collection.  I rarely buy more than a couple of prints from any given collection so this one also took some searching.  Good thing I love Alexia Abegg's Printshop collection!
The Fussy Cut Sampler Block # 43
Block 43.  I almost forgot to use these Heather Ross mice in the quilt, I'm glad I remembered!
The Fussy Cut Sampler Block # 44
Block 44. This block is titled "you in a block." I decided the best way to approach this was to just use some of my all-time favorite fabrics and hope they look ok together.  I think it worked out pretty well!

  2. I really, really like the blue-violet floral in your last block! It's such a rich color blue, and so unusual! And the print has those perfectly frumpy mustard flowers. I had about half a yard of it but then I used it to bind up my best friend's baby's quilt -- the quilt needed it, there really was no other option -- and I was happy to use it up on her -- sort of.
