This quilt is available for sale in my shop here!

A while back (wow, almost exactly 3 years ago!) I wrote a tutorial for a super simple, beginner friendly quilt that I made using Jeni Baker's Curiosities collection.

Recently I have been thinking that I would like to make a new version of the quilt and rewrite the tutorial to use fat quarters. Mister Domestic's Loved to Pieces fabrics that came in the July Culcita Box were perfect!

I figured that while I was at it, I would expand the sizing as well so the new version of the tutorial also includes instructions for a lap size version.

The baby size version uses 10 fat quarter so I used all but 2 of the FQs in the Culcita Box. If you are interested in making your very first quilt, this one is perfect. It is also a really quick project - I think I cut and pieced mine in about 2 hours.

I really enjoyed working with the Loved to Pieces collection - I particularly love the green print with the different flowers.

For the backing fabric I used a pink Sara Lawson print that I had in my stash for a while. The binding is a dark gray Art Gallery Solid.
