Murmur Quilt - The Tessa Quilt Pattern by Kitchen Table Quilting
When I was just starting to write the Tessa Quilt Pattern, I received these gorgeous Murmur fabrics in the mail and knew that they were perfect for the pattern.

The collection is by Valori Wells and it was inspired by the hummingbirds in her garden. They really shine in this collection and the colors are bright and happy.

I did make one change to the original pattern - I made the background fabrics scrappy. This seemed like it would be fun and I wanted to use as many prints from the collection as possible. I love how it turned out!

  1. This IS a beautiful line of fabric! I like the scrappy background squares. I am starting my cutting today - after making color maps, dithering, repeat... - for my Tessa and have settled on batiks - fingers crossed! Thanks for a graphic and pleasing pattern!
