The Birdie Quilt in Cotton Couture

This quilt has been on the to-blog-about list for a long time. I initially finished it up at the end of February, but then life got crazy (quarantine plus other stuff) and I just couldn't find a time to get photos.

I finally got them - it certainly helped that now my husband is working from home and it is light past 5pm. This is my Birdie Quilt pattern made in Michael Miller Cotton Couture solids.

When I first wrote this pattern, I envisioned a version that had a very subtle color difference between the background and sashing colors. I am OBSESSED with this sashing color - it is called Au Lait and it is gorgeous. I love how it isn't really white or off-white or tan, but it is a very pretty neutral.

The backing fabric is Gingham Play. It is such a great and versatile backing.

I have been staying very busy during quarantine and have a new pattern, a new tutorial, and a quilt-a-long that will be ready for you over the next few weeks. I am excited to share more!
