When I started buying fabric when I was a new quilter, I noticed something: I love to buy novelty fabrics, but I rarely use them. So for this Quilt Ideas post I thought I would do some mockups using Food Group from Ruby Star Society.
There are quite a few novelty prints in this collection mixed in with some very nice basics, but I wanted to show you how well a collection like this can work in a quilt pattern - this collection is pure fun.
One of my patterns, the Libby Quilt, was actually used in the lookbook for this collection so I will include that one in the mix, but Food Group is pretty versatile.
The Libby Quilt
The Violet Quilt - Fat Quarter Friendly
The Judy Quilt - F8th/FQ Friendly
The Carly Quilt - F8th/FQ Friendly
The Abigail Quilt
Aren't those fun? All of the patterns can be found in my shop and Food Group is just starting to pop up in quilt shops.
