The Elena Quilt in Camont

I am so glad I finally get to write a blog post about this quilt that I made using the Elena Quilt pattern! I made it a few months ago using a fat quarter bundle of Camont by Rifle Paper Co., but I ended up delaying this pattern release (life got crazy!) so it feels like it has been ages.

This collection is huge - 34 different prints! - so I ended up just using a small part of it for my quilt. The florals are always my favorites so I made sure to use as many of those as I could squeeze in, plus some more favorites from the collection.

After making this pattern a few times now, I decided I prefer a darker fabric for the cornerstones so I used one of the black prints in the collection.

The background fabric is Designer Essential Solids in Natural. I love, love, love this color - it's so versatile.

For the backing fabric, I picked up one of the Rifle Paper Co. basic prints in Coral. It isn't a perfect match for the collection, but it was close enough.

My coupon code for the Rifle Paper Co. website is still good through the end of the month - use code ERICA15 to get 15% off sitewide (you can find the fabric here).

And the pattern is still on sale for a couple more days - pick up the PDF or paper copy in the shop before the sale ends!
