The Luna Quilt - Spooky Darlings

How fun is this Spooky Darlings collection? I have loved the Ruby Star Society Darlings collections (see quilt here) and the new holiday versions are so adorable (yes, there is a Christmas-y collection in addition to this Halloween one).

The Luna Quilt Pattern was just right for this collection. I love that this pattern can pretty much work with anything. Larger scale graphic prints? Yep. Lots of variation in color and value? You got it. Pumpkins, rabbits, and ghosts? Yes, that too.

And notice that I even went a little daring with the background fabric — this is Speckled in Denim and it was just right for balancing everything out.

This was a really fun collection to work with and I love that using a jelly roll let me include lots of different prints. I actually hadn't used many jelly rolls until recently and I am fully on board now. They are are a great way to get a little bit of everything.

The binding is the black skull print and the backing is the Ghost Bunny print and I love the combination. Plus, it was fun to use a white backing fabric after using a non-white background fabric.
