August Giant Block Tutorial

August Giant Block Tutorial - Kitchen Table Quilting
August Giant Block Tutorial
I'm excited to share this tutorial with you today. If you follow my blog you might have noticed that I have a fondness for quilts with a woven look to them (see here, here, and here); this block is a really quick, simple way to get the effect on a larger scale.

The construction of the blocks is done in (what I think is) the most beginner-friendly way and does not involve any partial seams. The instructions and the quilt suggestions are both available as a free download in my shop

This is the 24" quilt idea - it makes a twin size quilt.

This is the 36" block quilt idea.

This one isn't included in the instructions, but could be made by following the 24" block instructions from the June Tutorial.

You can see all of the tutorials and finished quilts in the Giant Block Tutorial Series here.

While you are stopping by my shop, don't forget to check out the PDF and paper patterns that I have available.

    1. I'm sorry, I don't know why they don't work. I just tested them on two different computers and they are functioning at my house. In the future if you are having trouble, you can always go to shop.kitchentablequilting.com and look in the "Freebies" section.
