My Tessa Quilt - Ruby Star Society

I have already introduced this new pattern in my last post, but I wanted to take a minute to share some more photos of my version of The Tessa Quilt Pattern because I just loved making it so, so much.

I have been a huge fan of Cotton + Steel for the past few years, so I was excited to see the original C+S designers' new venture with Moda called Ruby Star Society. The prints are gorgeous! I particularly loved Social by Melody Miller and Anagram by Kimberly Kight and was so thrilled with how well they worked together in the quilt.

One thing that I really loved about using these collections for this pattern was how well it shows off the fabrics. Sometimes I like to make complicated patterns with lots of little pieces, but sometimes I just want to see the fabric.

The quilting was done by Heidi over at Piece and Joy Quilting Co and I can't say enough about how gorgeous it is. I have limited experience working with long arm quilters, but this has been my best experience by far. If you are looking for a long arm quilter, especially if you are in the Willamette Valley area of Oregon, I highly recommend Heidi!

For the backing fabric I used a Ruby Star Society Anagram print that I am a little obsessed with. It makes such a great backing for a very colorful quilt top.

There it is! I have another version of this pattern to share with you next week. The pattern is 20% off through tomorrow so head over to my shop to pick up a copy before the sale ends.
